chicken feather dust/allergies?

Maybe a coop cam would help you with the move. You could check on them any time! Maybe you can setup a hammock or something near the new coop location too and make it your special spot. It will be ok :hugs.

honestly you'd have to see how they act around me... I'm outside building something... because I'm sneaky >:) But I'm building something where they can run all under the deck but have access to a small window in one of my back rooms I literally never use. so I'm going to put a filter in that small room it's actually more of a storage area. Anyways I'm going to disguise it lol... That way they have a huge deck to run under but if they want to come for some hugs and kisses they can <3 They're following me ALL around while I'm building stuff... they follow me EVERYWHERE. Sunshine just all of the sudden started to love me... she's been such a pain these last couple of months I wanted to get rid of her.... Yesterday she was annoying STILL and randomly today she just OUT OF NO WHERE loves me. She's jumping on me... Following me... .-. maybe it was growing pains or something and she was idk moody. I think she's gonna lay soon

They follow you for food ;) jumping on you is a display of dominance.
Does your landlord know the birds are inside the house?
Chicken dander and poop can carry zootonic diseases.

I have to say I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to my chickens too, and their bedding... but they are outside and it really doesn't bother me other than when I'm coop cleaning and really kicking up the dust... or maybe it's just a normal reaction to all the dust.

All things aside. I have been both a landlord and a tenant. I would say find a way to do what your landlord requests. If you do not feel the request is reasonable, you need to talk to your landlord to find a compromise that is acceptable to both parties. You risk not only losing your chickens, but losing your housing, and losing any security deposit you have paid, as well as losing a good housing reference for when you are looking for a new place.

If you need help figuring out HOW to actually move your coop or how to pick a new location on site that is good for both you AND your landlord, post some pictures of your existing coop and the yard with a few options for new location and we can help you pick what spot is best and help you figure out how to disassemble and move your coop as easily as possible.

they sleep with me. they don't think their dominant. they just literally snuggle with me all the time. they squat for me so they at least respect me lol then run away from me when I run after them for being super annoying

you know many your science and intelligence isn't always what you believe it to be? they need me to survive and I appreciate that. they're weak creatures. That's why I take care of them. I have a soft side for these animals. They were going to be killed but I saved them. You're one of those "evolution" and "science" people who are too "smart" for their britches. Honestly opinions like that aren't welcome in my forum simply because I think they're all mostly conjecture. Science can make theories on how the universe was created but there can't ever be solid proof. EVERYTHING boils down to a form of faith. not logic faith. Because thousands of years ago it was logic that the earth was flat. and a thousand years from now it will be logic of something new we didn't realize

I don't think animals are very smart no. I don't think they have the capacity to feel the same way but there has been some evidence leading to some ability to empathize in chickens whether it be very low or not. If you believe in creation. You would believe things were supposed to be maybe a little different... if you believe in Evolution of course you'll think all creatures but us are dumb and we're naturally the most important and higher beings. honestly I don't really want to hear the textbook stuff I'm sorry. I'm not mad or anything I just really don't wanna talk about those things

you can't go inside of a creatures brain and tell me how smart it is. you can put in through a test but there in reality could be many reasons why it doesn't figure out the "puzzle" lol some people stop at a certain point. but then some people keep questioning. questioning is what science is. you have to keep questioning it. Have a good day art
