Do note that all these Suet-like treats are HUGELY high fat, not good for your birds in quantity or constantly. The "treat" rule applies.
Fatty liver disease in chickens is a silent killer, and the suet recipes above are a great way to inflict that on your birds. The NRCS/USDA recommend for fat content in a chicken's diet is 3.5% +/-. About 1% higher for waterfowl. Around 5.5% for "finishing" a CornishX for table - obviously not a diet concerned with the bird's long term health.
