Is scatch grain,&layer feed 16%crumbles &starter grower a good balance diet . My chicken 12 weeks old.

The scratch grains are not a good balanced feed, they lack some minerals and other nutrients. They work well as a treat. Once they start laying they should have a good layer feed as their basic feed.
