Chicken Feet and Heads

For anyone feeding raw, how do you schedule your "model"
I've fed raw, but not fully. Wanting to switch to it though. Dog food is yucky for dogs

and terribly expensive!

Are kidding? Eat the feet! Boil them with some soy sauce or something....another way to do it is to boil them, then soak them overnight with cooking wine and water. Not too sure...I eat, mom makes them, so..

Prey model is roughly 80% muscle meat, 10% organ meat, and 10% bones. It can be spread out over a week, so you have an organ and bone night, and several mostly muscle nights
because it's hard to get exactly the right ratios every day. Prey model is also fed whole, like a chicken leg quarter, or a couple of pork ribs - raw meaty bones and all. In other words, it's not ground up like other raw diets.
There is a lot of room for variance and tailoring to the individual. Some dogs need a little higher bone percentage to avoid runny poops, but you just experiment a little to find the sweet spot for your dog.
I highly recommend that you do your research - this is a great resource! http://www.dogster.com/forums/Raw_Food_Diet
