Chicken fertilizer

Anyone in the York PA area need some good chicken dropping fertilizer/manure?????

Why don't you try posting on Craigs List or Freecycle? I would think that most people on this forum have a good supply from their own chickens, but before we had chickens I would have loved to find some.

LOL I just did that an found someone! I wonder if she knows what she is getting... it is amazing how much something so small can well ya know "drop" geez! I dont understand how people can do the stirring method in their coops.

My mom down in TX wants it because she pays $25 a bag for it!

I use the fluffing method, which I believe is what you refer to as the stirring method. I use a short handle rake with 3 long tines to fluff the litter up in the coop. Whether straw or pine shavings the poo is usually pretty dry within a short time frame. Fluffing makes it all fall to the bottom, meaning fewer full coop cleanings.
