Chicken fever 2025?

I was wondering who already is getting infected with the baby chick fever? I have to admit it, it got me already this year. Every day to work do I pass by a Tractor Supply store and wondering when I will see the sign we got chickens.
Well I am soon setting some eggs too. Yes, the chicken fever got me.

Sorry if I infected now anyone with the baby chick fever.

Please answer honest if you already got infected or if you think you will be able to resist.

I'd love to get some more Bielefelder chicks... sigh. They are my friendliest birds.

I’ve been interested in Bielfelders! It’s nice to know that they’re friendly! I haven’t had a great history with large fowl breeds consistently being friendly . For instance, everybody seems to love Faverolles for their calm demeanors, but the chicks I got absolutely hated me.

I already hatched out 18 cute lil chicks! They were all born between the 29th and the 6th.

I had one Faverolle and she was always talking to us and acting funny. I have gold Deathlayers and like them so far. They run from us but we are okay with it. We did not look for lap chickens I like that the rooster is protective of his ladies. Stunning looking chickens.

It hasn't hit me yet, but I'm hoping it'll hit me later this year. (Give it around April when it's getting warmer, and I'll probably have it then.) I need to sort out my flock and figure how many I can retire for new ones and if I'll have the time and space for new ones, or if I should just wait until next year. This year may or may not get complicated for me, so I might have to put them off until next year.
