Chicken Fever

Hi everyone!
I've been a big fan of BackYardChickens, but never had any chickens of my own to post anything in particular. Still, I loved reading on information about chickens, breeds, care, etc. Finally I've decided to be a proud chicken owner. The only thing was that after I had one I felt the need to continue adopting more of these colorful fun little beauties. For now its just a great hobby, but who knows... It also might become a life style!.

How long have you had your chickens? Did you get them as chicks, or adopt some older birds? Are those Salmon Favorelles? Easter Eggers? They're very pretty!
