I have created a plot idea, since there are none so far, but it would have to be approved by the OP:

It had been a week since the coyote had first investigated the coop. He had come in the dead of night, hungry, eager to get his paws on any living creature small enough to take down. Fortunately for the flock, their coop was completely predator-proof, and the coyote, try as he might, could not get in. He vowed, however, that he would not give up, and a few days later, he rashly returned during mid-day.

The flock always free ranged during the day, and this time the coyote would have gotten his supper, had the keeper not suddenly spied the sneaky predator through the kitchen window and come running to shoo him off.

Now, the flock were grateful to their keeper for deterring their biggest enemy, but they loved free ranging and absolutely despised being confined to the run. So when they heard the keeper speaking of having to lock them up for safety, they grew quite worried.

The roosters of the flock planned a Flock-wide Meeting to discuss the problem:

Despite our sharp beaks, shiny tails, and long talons, every one of us is deathly afraid of that coyote. However, we are absolutely determined
to keep free ranging. The topic of discussion today is this: how can we convince our keeper that we don't have to be shut up in the run all day, while at the same time protecting ourselves? We need a solution before our keeper--or the coyote, for that matter--makes any moves.

This is my plan for a plot, please let me know if it sounds good and can be approved or disapproved. The time of the above meeting would be decided by the Thread Starter, preferably after more role players have joined. If this idea is approved, it would be helpful for people to give information about their character's viewpoint on the coyote/free range dilemma. Thank you!
it looks really good
hope it gets approved
