Chicken Flock RP (I have no idea if this will catch on)

“Don’t get to thinking you’re hoing to be higher in the rooster order than me once I’m full grown,” Eeny added, puffing up his chest. “My dad is top rooster, so I will take his place when I’m big enough,” he boasted. Juliette pecked him on the head, hard. “Be polite,” she scolded. “Owwww,” Eeny whined. “See? You’re nothing but a little fluff-brain. You belong with Janie and FluffBomb’s chicks, you’re such a baby!” Eeny’s sister, Meeny, taunted. He pecked her back, but to her credit, she didn’t moan about it.

FluffBomb says, “I dunno what you guys are doing trying to fight for tenth spot in the pecking order or something. I just want what’s best for my chicks.”

[FluffBomb was speaking from a position high in the pecking order because broody hens have that position].

The Keeper walks out to the coop to make sure that FluffBomb’s chicks are OK. She feeds and waters them.

Everything is pretty calm in the coop, except there is a rather large quantity of cockerels running around in the yard. The Keeper notices them running around and scrapping.

“I can’t take in every baby rooster that needs rehoming!” she says.

The keeper decides to rehome most of the cockerels. FluffBomb’s and Janie’s chicks are still too little to leave them, and so are Confetti’s and Juliette’s. Some of the other hens also have baby cockerels who are too young to leave them. The keeper takes the other cockerels and places them in a bachelor coop so they will not fight while she finds them a home. Romeo, Hobbes, and Oreo, who are established roosters, get to stay with the flock.

Luke did not enjoy this. He thought that being cooped up with all the other roosters would just make everyone unhappy. He was in a bad mood. He did know that he might be able to escape though. In the main coop there was a gap in the wire. There might be one in this one to, but he couldn't fly so he didn't know how he would even get to a gap like that.
