I have been feeding my flock crumbles since day one. They are 15 weeks now, can I change to pellets.. seems there is just so much dust in the crumbles. First flock so I am unclear if your supposed to change etc... I figured they sell pellets for a reason... right??

I think they will be fine. Mine had the crumbles but when I would let them free range with momma they would eat the pellets with her much younger then 15 weeks.

Yes, they sell pellets for a reason, less waste and they don't have to pass the pellets through the crumbler.
If you read the chart on the back of your feed bag, it will tell you what feeds they make that are appropriate for your birds' ages.
For each type of feed, there is no difference in nutrition between crumbles and pellets. They're the same feed.

If you're talking about switching to layer feed, that's a different story.
You'd be pushing it this time of year switching to layer with birds that age.

There are all-flock pellets that are basically the same thing as start & grow crumbles.

Pellets are fine. Some flocks resist the change. But, if that is what you feed them, that is what they will eventually eat. My birds think pellets are a treat. They get fermented feed as their usual fare. Before I switched to fermented feed, they thought the ferment was a treat! While they resist change, sometimes, they consider the new feed to be a treat. Especially if you toss some of it on the ground.

No problem. There's a long list of forums here and some of us have been around a long time. There is a learning curve, especially with the new format.
