Chicken full of undeveloped eggs dead

They can go on for months and sometimes even more than a year with these issues, but when you cut them open and see how packed with infected egg material they are, you realise that they must have been in a lot of discomfort and that it would probably have been kinder to end their suffering sooner. We all live and learn in these situations, so that is not not intended as a criticism, but just a situation to learn from.
Well done for having the courage to open her up and find out what the problem was.... as others have said, Salpingitis (infection of the oviduct) and probably internal laying and EYP are common in birds over 2 years old...... not possible to be totally specific about which or all 3 from your photos, depending upon where in the body the material was located. Not infectious to other flock members but you will likely see other birds with these ailments if you keep a reasonably large flock which includes older birds, from time to time.

That is why I'm afraid to have hens cause loosing them is such a pain
