Chicken gasping for breath and caughing

Thank you all for the suggestions. I took her to a Vet today and found through X-rays that she had a large tumor that was flattening a portion of her trachea. Unfortunately we had to put her down. There was nothing else we could do for her except to end her suffering. Thanks again,

I am so sorry for your loss. It is good that you found the cause of her wheezing though, and that she is not suffering. Thank you for the update.
