I went to check on my birds-
I have little ones in pen, under neath I have in a separate pen 4 month old frizzle, and 3 month old cochin bantam, and 3 barnyard mixes, when I came in the wire was off the 4 month old pen- my guess hens knocked it off and the red cochin bantam got chased by a hen, and flew out of the pen. it is winter and it is limited where she can go. I cant find her. just 2 feathers. now she could have got beaten up and hiding some where. so I will wait and see.
In other news- I have a very shy EE that may have gone broody I went to get eggs and she normally would have ran away, but she guarded the nest. but of the eggs she was guarding there was not any of her own so maybe she just really had to lay and wanted me to go away. we will see.
