It won't hurt to reclean the wound and apply an ointment or treatment of choice. The wound needs to be monitored very closely for maggot activity.

I do recommend that in addition to topical treatment, since you report the wound is infected that she be given a course of antibiotics. Topical treatments will only help so much.

She needs to be kept hydrated. Encourage her to eat. If she does not rally after a dose or 2 of antibiotics, then it would be best to put her out of her misery.

She ate some scrambled eggs on her own, without force feeding, and she is drinking on her own. I am checking all over her like twice a day to make sure no maggots. No sign of them. She seems to be better but she still won't stand.:(

It's good that she ate and drank on her own.

Sometimes with injuries they can have nerve, spinal or internal injuries. Give her some time to see if she will stand.
 
Good luck. Treating flystrike is not easy. I have never had to treat it, so you are getting good experience. In summertime, it can be very hard to prevent if there is a wound, a poopy butt, and a lot of flies in the area.
 
This is my 2 cence....

Set a certain day. Any day. On that day, if she is not much better I would put her down. If she recovers, keep on caring for her.
Is it bloody?
Where on her back?
Could you post a full-body picture?
Do you have any treats that she likes? Maybe try mixing them in with her scrambled eggs to increase her eating.
What breed is she?
Is she laying yet?
If so, has she layed eggs after the attack?

Object, if you must- When my silkie got her buttox bitten of by a 'coon we wrapped it in a old T-Shirt. Anyone think that might work? She had been living in a dog crate with food + water, so we wrapped her up at night.

Poor Girl :(
 
Update: Hey everyone, bad news. Patch passed away last night. Thanks everyone for trying to help:hugs:(
Anybody have an idea on why she died? Yesterday she drank a lot of water and ate some eggs. And she seemed to be doing better. Her wound looked better too. Im also pretty sure there were no more maggots. Just wondering in case it happens again... hopefully not though
