Update: Hey everyone, bad news. Patch passed away last night. Thanks everyone for trying to help
Anybody have an idea on why she died? Yesterday she drank a lot of water and ate some eggs. And she seemed to be doing better. Her wound looked better too. Im also pretty sure there were no more maggots. Just wondering in case it happens again... hopefully not though

So sorry for your loss i would lean toward the infection that finally did her in. You could do a necropsy to be sure.

More than likely infection and possibly internal injuries took her. You did everything you could for her.
