I can see these in photos of people with home set-ups for processing poultry, but can't seem to find a place on line to order a few... Anyone buy these recently? Until I can find some, I will use zip ties- but I would love to have something I can reuse and clean easily..... Thank you for any suggestions/help!

I use a piece of string tied in a loop. I twist it so there is a slip loop that goes on one leg then wrap it around the other leg one time & pull it between the legs under the string. There is no tying so it is fast, reliable, easy, & reusable.

My "chicken shackle" is clothesline cord, tied with a slip-loop.

A lot of people use cones instead, which I want to switch to, when I get around to it. You can make your own, or buy them, or make one from a traffic cone, available at most big box hardware stores.

Try LBProducts.com - We custom build shackles for poultry processors. Might have something on the shelf that would fit your needs. We build something that would fit a pigeon all the way up to a 50 lb Tom.
