Chicken has been egg bound for 2 weeks..

Need advise please!!!... Been to the vets already... No luck... Now she is molting , eating less, drinking less and pooping less... Help!

Is she actually egg bound, or is she just not laying? It's normal for production to slow down before the onset of molting. Most hens stop laying completely while they are molting.

She really has an egg in there. It showed up on an X-ray nearly 2 weeks ago...

Some people have had success with letting the hen soak in a warm, Epsom salts bath. I don't think there really is much that can be done, other then keep her calm and comfortable, hope and wait.

She's now eating drinking and pooping considerably less... If anyone out there has any other thoughts, pls share them ... Tx!..
