Chicken has one eye closed

Hello,

I have a 20 week old easteregger and she has one eye closed.She seems OK otherwise what should I do?

Is it matted shut? or will she just not open it?

No it looks fine she just has it closed she will open it here and there and her age is wrong she is only 10 weeks old?

I have a rooster thats about the same age.He got it poked somehow,so I put him in a rabbit cage.Hes a bantam so he could fit in there.Then he got lonly so I put his girlfriend in there with him.

Popeye and Blondie are their names.

Sometimes that happens,so its good to have:

1. a rabbit cage.doesnt need to be new,find one at a yard sale or make one.
2. a place to keep chickens inside your home (I put popeye and blondie in my bathroom in the back of the house in the shower).
3. A well ventalated space for the. (I turn on the vent fan because of *pee-ewwww*)

His eye is better today.Hes been in the house for 5 days and hes back in the pen with blondie and their buddies.

check your chickies eye to see if their is any foreign matter closing it,or any oozing,otherwise it could have been pecked or poked.
