Hey guys, my speckled sussex chicken has snot coming out of her nose. It's yellow and very thick and it has a very foul smell to it. Is this something that I should be concerned about? If so what should I do? She is about 9 weeks old and she eats and drink normally.

That sounds like a chronic respiratory disease called infectious coryza, a contagious bacterial disease that makes chickens and the flock carriers for life. Have you seen symptoms in any of the other chickens? I would separate this chick far away from the others, although they have probably already been exposed. Many people cull for this disease, and you could send the refrigerated body in to your state vet for a necropsy. If you choose to treat with antibiotics, sulfadimethoxine (Dimethox) and Sulmet have been used to treat symptoms, but it may not be cured. Sorry about your chick.
