My chicks are still on starter crumb at four weeks
But I've noticed when I've let them play in the big run
They can get a bit tired and shaky
They only go in for an hour to have a run about

Is there anything I can give them to help when they get a bit shaky?

If they get tired and shaky it could be a few things. Generally lack of electrolytes and/or calcium magnesium are the two main suspects in such cases, so if you supply either or both and see an improvement, there's your answer. However overall I find to avoid health problems down the track there is no substitute for the best diet you can afford them. There are a lot of options out there but 'cheapest' is generally a false economy. Conventional diets are often deficient too, it always pays to give them the most complete nutrient spectrum you can, whether you intend to eat them or their eggs or breed them or keep them as pets, whatever your purpose is. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and it can be hard or impossible to cure birds who never had a good start. They are building their immune systems and disease defense right now, if you don't want a problem prone flock you need to give them some extra TLC.

Best wishes.
