My Plymouth Rock chicken sounds like it has the hiccups. She looks really healthy otherwise and is eating properly, and has no discharge from her eyes or nose. The hiccups are coming more frequently, now approx every 1-2 minutes apart.
Our chickens free range in our back yard, but there are no chemicals or poisons used in our garden area. They have eaten a few field mice lately which have been caught by the trap, but none of the other chickens are showing any sign of hiccups. Does anyone know what the cause would be?
