Moved chickens to new coop a few days ago, still having to put htem in one at a time to learn it. One disappeared during this and it became dark outside. I've looked for an hour in all the places that makes sense. There is a fox around that has taken chickens here before so I don't want to leave it. Does anyone have any tips for finding a chicken that has probably hunkered down in a branch or leaf pile?

Thanks

Chickens are very smart, they know that you will look only in places that make sense. So start looking into places that don't make sense at all. 🙊🙉🙈😝😝

Never managed to find him last night, but the little idiot was crowing as the sun went up. He's getting thrown into the coop first from now on.

Tonight I found him roosting on a tree branch about 15ft up... lost two of them again in the commotion. Changing coops is rough!
