Chicken holds her head up side down

Can anyone tell me what's going on here? My 7 year old Buff Orpington seems to sleep with her head alternatively looking up to the left and to the right. She slants her neck/head. I wonder if she had a stroke or so. Sometimes she does it during the day, sometimes she doesn't. She does seem to be very tired. She's easy pray for the rooster. Anyone have any idea what's happening here?

I can't help, but one of my hens who is about the same age as yours does the same thing except that she is still going strong. But it is strange that it started so suddenly.
