Chicken hurt, quit laying

I have an 8 month old that had been laying great until she got hurt. Somehow she lost a toe (have no idea how) and when she got hurt, she quit laying. Has been a month now, she walks with a limp, get around fine but has not started laying again. Does anyone think she will lay again.

I think she will. Trauma of any kind (even moving homes) can disturb their laying. She put a lot of energy into healing her toe. When she feels healthy and safe, she should start laying again.

I have three hens that were tramatized by a neighborhood dog and have not layed in six months.
