This is good info. We are having to move into temporary housing where I doubt that I'll be able to keep my babies. While I'm very sad about this situation, I'm thankful to have a friend/neighbor who will be willing to help house them over the winter for me while we find a new acreage. I always think I'll be able to tell my babies apart (I only have six right now...to which I'll be adding to once we find a place) but practically I'm afraid that once they've blended in with hers (she has upwards to a hundred) that I will be hard-pressed to pick mine out. Banding them will help. They are pretty much full grown so there won't be too much of an issue with resizing them bigger.
