Chicken identification!!!

That would be my guess from looking at pictures. Like I said I'm new to the world of chickens, but if they are you should have some nice birds. Barred Rocks lay during the winter.

I think you have 3 barred rocks (the black chicks) And the other one could be any chicken that has white feathers

I'm still new to chickens, too (and I'm looking at the pics on my phone) but I think the black one looks more like an australorp. I'll look again when I get back to my laptop. Are their beaks black?

i got them from a local feed store...they came from a certain company that i cant remember. i will post that later on today

Usually to get a true Ameraucana, you have to get them from a breeder. Your chicks probably came from a hatchery. Hatcheries only sell Easter Eggers, very similar to Ameraucanas, but not true in color and breeding.

Anyway, I don't think you have either of those. I also don't think they're Barred Rocks, I thought they always had a white dot on their heads and I don't see dots on your chicks.

Australorp is a good guess. I have one and she's a wonderful layer.

My guess, though, is black star. If they are, they'll be beautiful birds and excellent layers.
