Have two chickens, arrived April 29th from Hoover Hatchery in heavy layer assortment. Not sure what they are and brownish one is supposed to be a roo but I am starting to doubt that. Any guesses? Thanks!! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

The first one Might be an Easter Egger and I have no idea on the second one. I was going to guess Hamburg, but they dont have yellow legs and the patterning on feathers doesn't really match. [IMG]

Quote:The second one cant be a brahma, no feathered legs and the body, only the neck feathers and tail should have black on them. And brahamas don't have single combs.

EE because of green legs and comb and Exchequer Leghorn are my guesses.

True. I just looked at the hatchery's website and maybe it's another EE or SLW with bad markings then.

Quote:It wouldn't have the right leg color to be an EE, and also they have pea combs. But I have thought it was a bad SLW since that is about the only thing they sell that looks anything like that chick. Or possibly it accidently got crossed with something, idk.
