I have a 2 1/2 year old Americauna. This morning I noticed her standing alone, droopy tail feathers and stretching her neck and opening her beak. She's making a pitiful little cheepy sound. I had to leave for work, and I really expected she would be dead when I got home. She was still alive, and her tail was up, but she was still gaping her beak. I let her out with the others, and she nibbled some grass and walks fine, but she stretches her neck and shakes her head, opens her beak about every 2 seconds. She sneezed a few times, but no nasal discharge. She looks fine, otherwise. Poop appears normal. She ate a few sunflower seeds. I felt her neck and can't feel any hardness that might be an obstruction. She came from McMurray's and was vaccinated for Mareks. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for treatment.
