Ahh, I didn't consider humidity. I suppose I could always try it if the humidity is low and skip if it's high. Might be more helpful in OP's climate than New England, which can be very muggy in the summer. I'm curious to see how the chickens handle this weekend (how crazy is this: yesterday was in the 50's, tomorrow is going to be in the 90's).Misters help in DRY heat, but are useless or even worse than useless in high humidity.
