Chicken in the grass

Yesterday one of my RIR's just sat in on lawn for hours. I have 6 RIR and 5 BR that go I let out to free range each day around 4:00 while I'm home to watch. Usually they all know the routine, Run out, peck, peck, peck, dust bath, etc. But she came out about 15 feet, and sat in the middle of the lawn. I picked her up, checked her feet, checked her butt, she looks healthy, eyes clear, shiny feathers. Put her back down she walked a little, and then just stood, And sat again. I let her sit there, then when I called all the girls back to the coop in the evening, she got up, and followed them in as usual. Strange. Why is she behaving this way?

Yes. It was about 85 degrees.

Hi! Mine do that sometimes, but hot here is about 20 degrees above yours. Hope she was just relaxing! Keep us posted!

She seems okay today..I'm starting to think maybe she got into the beer that was on the table. Would she? Possible I guess!
