Chicken "in your face" pictures!!

Really... it's like I'm the paparazzi or something... they hide her from me all the time! that's her little peach head right between the two boys.

Please state your business with Madam.

okay, now you've seen her, please move along

so maybe I am the paparazzi... I had to follow them around forever to get one shot of Peach, glad it came out

Hi cheeka,
Can you post or PM me one of your grey roo pls? I think you have just solved what one of mine will look like. Did the grey come out later? Thanks

I just looked at the following of the boys hiding Peach- do the boys get on ok? I plan to keep my 5 sibling roos (plenty of hens) & am wondering how they will all be together. Seem fine so far-14 wks.

payback time... jk, they both still have those pretty single feathers...

qldchook, you mean this boy? Osiris is now 17.5 weeks old, and I got him (and the other boy, and little Peach) from fellow byc'er wingstone on Labor Day a couple of weeks ago... so I don't know what he looked like as a chick, but I can show you what my Blu looked like... she was a very soft golden brown with blue tints. He and Archimedes, get along wonderfully... they've been together since hatch I believe. they're smart, and easy going for the most part... it's all still pretty new for them, they are just now getting used to me. they don't back up into the corner when I approach so much... but they do block Peach.

this is roughly 6 weeks, I'll have to dig thru some albums to find chick pics besides what's in the album on my profile page
but the blue color was really showing by one week, I think I might get some spectacular EE's with these 2.
This next is from today, Blu at 21 weeks

This gal definitely gets in my face! Right now she's saying, "Is this shiny thing food? If so, how can I get it in my mouth? I'm in a trance because its so shiiiinnnyyyy"...lol..All my girls gather round when I sit on my front steps. They know I usually have a treat for them. But they can get greedy and anything in my hands is up for grabs.

Pepper our Dominique loves to get up close and personal with the camera. She can see her reflection and thinks it is amazing.

Cait getting some face time with her protector Dozier.

Not chickens but Jake and Butterscotch are both such hams when the camera comes out. Jake can't help it, she automatically poses and gives me the eye!
