My olive Egger sweet pea I noticed today has a bare spot on her belly near her vent. There appears to be some scabbing and some small wounds. It looks pretty sore and the feathers are very fine and almost falling off. It looks like there is some bedding stuck to her feathers near this area. I'm wondering if she got some mud or poop on her feathers and then was trying to pick it off. Does this make sense? I was going to give her a bath and apply some blukote. Any other tips? I checked for lice and mites and don't see any evidence.
