my chicken is limping on 1 leg ,she cannot stand and she stays in the coop but we hand feed her and eats well what do I do?

I am sorry that no one has responded to your post before now. We need more information in order to help you out.

Is there a visible injury (external-break of the skin, lesion, etc) or deformity (internal - ie look like a break in a bone) to the leg?

well it took about 5 days but now she is limping around and eating,so now I don't no if it was a bad sprain or wat?

Leg injuries are not uncommon in birds. I am glad to hear she is improving. I hope she continues to do so.

Good luck.

Gerohan my hen was run over by a goat and it broke her hip. Sometimes birds try to fly and land wrong. Anything could happen. The good news is that most of the time there is a good life after these injuries, as long as you're willing to practice patience and love. My girl still walks with a limp, but she sits right next to my feet whenever I'm in the coop, loves to be held and petted and is one of the best layers I have, cranking out a jumbo egg every day.

It's been a long time since your girl was hurt. Is she doing okay?
