Hello, one of my chickens has been limping. We removed her from the flock, washed her leg and inspected it. We cannot find a visible injury but she can't hold my finger with that foot. Right now she is in a dog kennel with food, water, electrolytes and a stuffed chicken for company. Is there anything else we can do? We do not have a vet local here to take her too

How old and what breed?

Any other symptoms from any of them besides her limping?

Is she laying eggs? What is her feed every day?

I'd suspect possible vitamin deficiency, but need to know a bit more.

Whether it's an unseen injury of muscles in her leg or foot, or a vitamin deficiency, B-Complex can help both. If full grown, and not bantam breed, she could have a full human pill of it every day for a week or two.

No there are no other symptoms. No she hasn't started laying yet and she is on chick starter feed. Thank you for replying.

Thank you for the suggestion, we will try that.
