chicken injury from roosters

I have 2 roosters that are very aggressive and they dig there nails into all the hens backs. The hen that is badly injured has a 1 1/2 in. open cut from her back down towards her side about 2 in. long, I can see her muscle I think. It's not bleeding but it's open, how should I care for something that bad on my own? Is there anyway of keeping the roosters from being so aggressive to all my hens before another one is hurt that bad?

Try putting some Blue-Koat(sp?) on her back. That will help her heal and prevent picking. Also, they make chicken saddles to protect hens' backs. I've seen threads on them here before.
