I would try for 3 times to start with and after you start to see improvement drop it to 2 and then go for 1 till you stop but I think you'll have to keep it up for at least 3 weeks. mix up a little yogurt and chick feed with the vitamins and a little warm water just to make a gooey mash, but a small amt. is the chick eating at all on it's own? the reason I'm asking is my chicks love kefir and chick feed mixed up like mash, I gave it to them every morning for 2 weeks.

Kefir is another probiotic you can find it in the milk section at the grocery store. I make my own but it is not thick like yogurt [I like the Blueberry] but for your little one I'd get the plain. although to get him to eat it and make sure he's getting the vitamins maybe get the blueberry, it's an all natural product so you aren't feeding him junk. I've never given my chickens blueberries but alot of people on here say they like them so probably wouldn't hurt to try Blueberry kefir. Are you also treating the other chick thats having problems? have you posted on the Silkie thread?

If it is possible for you to get your hands on some prednisone, give him 2.5mg twice a day for about 5 days, then once a day for another few days. Along with the polyvisol...

He has quiet taking the polyvisol, I have it in the water and I made up some yogurt with it, he won't even touch it, steps in the yogurt but won't touch it. He looks like he's getting worst to me, He is still eating regular dry food, but won't eat the yogurt with the polyvisol in it. He's starting to rotate his head in circles, he didn't do that before.. I don't know how else to get the polyvisol in him. I have it in his water but I'm sure it's not enough.. How much is sufficant? He's eating a lot of just the plain dry food. I can't take it out of the box because I have others that I'm not treating. You see I have him in a huge box with 10 other white silkies that just hatched Sunday. I tried to put him by himself but I noticed he starts to peep and stresses out because he is alone. He's very calm with the other silkies but his head has me concerned they way he's rolling it now.. He scratches his face a lot too. I'm amazed on how much of the regular dry food he is eating. This whole time of me typing this he has been eating. it's been about 10 minutes now... I guess I should exspect him to get worst before he gets better right?

Have you seen this link? I wish i had the answers to your question, from all I've read it does take a long time. If he's drinking his water and the vits are in it then he's getting some. It's good to have it with other chicks as long as they aren't picking on it.

HE'S GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORST, we went from holding our head down to his head is now in between his leggs. He looks like a headless chicken. The vits are not taking affect at all. No improvements just worst...
