Chicken is lethargic all of the sudden, keeps eyes closed

Okay, an egg, good. Give her a human calcium tablet with vitamin d or a Tums when you can get it in the morning. Soft eggs may get stuck, and if she is having some trouble, that may help her when the next one comes along. I would give it daily for 7 days or until she lays a normal egg. Is she getting a layer feed or have access to crushed oyster shell? Get some sleep.

Getting the egg out definitely helped. When I woke up she was awake and alert, telling me to give her food. She's back out with her sisters now and pretty much back to her ususal self. Will make sure she gets some extra calcium the next few days. Thanks everyone for input!

So glad to hear this! Eggs can really cause them to feel down.
