Chicken is limping

Hi everyone! My almost one year old australorp got her leg stuck on a piece of string that was in our yard. I don't know how long it was stuck for. I was taking my dog out to use the bathroom earlier and I thought she was just laying there. I came out twice and my sister said she had a string stuck to her leg. She didn't have any cuts or swelling. She tries not to put pressure on it but can walk on it a little. She can walk on it and use it. When she was there she didn't make any sounds of distress or pain. When I touched it she didn't resist so I don't think there is pain when I touch it. Is it sore or sprained? Should I just let it heal on its own? Thank you in advance

Can you post any pictures of the leg and foot? Was the string tied around the leg very tight?

Hi thank you for getting back to me. I can try to get a picture later. The string wasn't tied around the leg very tight. It wasn't loose but there wasn't a way to get it off of her. There isn't any swelling or blood.
