That pen has been converted to a rooster pen..........bunch of young bantam roosters in there.

As you can see, its still super popular! I really need to build another one....

Love the design and clearly all the girls are having fun. I was so shocked at your first set of pics to see a female lioness sitting just outside the pen! Took a minute to make it out to be a dog! Thought they were dinner for a second.

I have a ladder in my run holding up a tarp and my chickens LOVE it also. This is a good idea cause I'm sure my husband will need his ladder one day soon.

That pen is a popular dog hangout (both dogs are good with chickens, but are dying to get into the "off-limits" pen)

I love this idea and would love to build one in my run. On question though - does putting something roost-like in their run keep them from going to roost in their coop at night?? I noticed one of my girls roosting on a lawn chair rather than go into the coop so I took it out of the run. Just wonderin....

I love it! I made one a few years ago out of old branches and bailing twine, it was SO ugly! but the girls loved it, lol. it even held up for the fatties. i plan to use driftwood from the river near us for a new one, my mom found a nice big Y-shaped piece and i hope to find more like it to make a good sized one for my Cochins. the love playing on them
