Chicken killed by fox :(

I decided to make this in memory of my 7 month old silkie hen named Brynn.
We all loved her so much and she brought so much joy. Rest In Peace Brynn!

She was adorable. Did you figure out how the Fox Killed her? Foxes are extremely intelligent animals and are a great danger to poultry. Did you fix the problem? Just trying to make sure the rest of your flock is safe...

A fox will come back now that he’s figured out how to get your birds. Perhaps trap him until then keep your girls in the run.

Awwww so sorry about your chicken. ): Earier this year I lost my little Eppie to a fox, I know how it feels to lose a very loved pet.

For me, at least, I know it helps to know she had a happy little chicken life and that foxes have a way of killing them quickly, so she wasn’t in a lot of pain

Oh of course the latches can be hard to close so we definitely fixed it! She died by the back door accidently opening and she was the closest to the Fox so she was easy prey
