Chicken killing mole?

My hen slams them around until they are dead and then swallowed them whole, like a python! I was shocked the first time I saw it. She also LOVES to get these gnarly guys. We get a lot of them where I am. Nature is so incredibly awesome.

Lol. It is a "Earth Baby" or a Jerusalem cricket. They are found mostly in the western US in the deserty places. They live underground but I end up with them in my house after it rains. They can be very loud. The chickens go crazy for them. They are not venomous but they can bite.

That would be a nightmare come true for me! Crickets that are bigger than they oughta be, and have the ability to bite. Lol, I'd be letting MY chickens in the house for the nigh.

That would be a super bug.. One that is loud, bites, flies and looks like THAT. *shudders*
