I have 9 chickens that were born in May and should be laying eggs. Finally found 1 egg in nesting box 5 days ago but have not seen anymore. Is that normal? Also one of my more friendly chickens started running up to me today trying to bite my jacket sleeve. Felt like she was trying to be the boss. Why has she turned on me?

It is normal at this time of year. It is a matter of declining day length vs. increasing day length. They were reaching sexual maturity between summer and winter solstice. You can do one of two things. Wait till after the winter solstice which comes in 3 weeks. Or, add a light on a timer in your coop at roost height to come on before dawn. Start with about 30 extra minutes and incrementally add more a couple times a week and by the time you reach 12+ hours of light a day, most should be laying.

Do you free range?
The aggression is not uncommon when they are close to point of lay.
'Peck' her back.
