Chicken laid tiny egg

One of my hens laid a tiny egg. Does anybody know what would be the cause of such a tiny egg.

It's pretty normal, just an occasional misfire of the hen's egg-making system. Nothing to worry about! The tiny eggs are pretty neat though!

Oops egg. This is the smallest oops egg I've ever had.
