I live in Neptune Township NJ and I'm trying to raise 2-3 chicken. I looked up online for any ordinance/law for my township and couldn't find in regards to raising chicken in backyard. Does anybody know if they're allowed in my town? I live in suburb and we have fence in our backyard if that makes any difference. Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi!
I'm in pt pleasant. I know you can have them but I'm not sure of exact law. Go to the New Jersey thread. There's a few members on it from neptune. Welcome by the way!

The NJ thread is under the Where am I? Where are you! section. You mentioned 2-3 chickens. Do you have them yet? If not, go with 3 at least. Depending on how many you're allowed to have in your town it would even be better to go with a small flock of 5-7.
