I have a chicken that has been hanging by her self the last couple of days. Twice now she has just laid an egg in the field while she was walking around. Tonight about 15 minutes after she laid the egg randomly she laid what looked like a soft egg and had a lot of bright yellow thick liquid come out with it. I am new with chickens and have not experienced anything like this. I attached a picture of the chicken with the soft egg looking thing and yellow stuff with it. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with her?

What are you feeding her?
Was the first egg a normal hard shelled egg or was it soft shelled too?

The bright yellow liquid, I would assume is egg yolk, probably the soft shell or membrane collapsed leaking the contents of the egg. Was that semi-firm at all or did you touch it? If you still have that "egg" more photos of it and if it's firm or solid, can you cut it open:D

I would watch to see if she is eating/drinking o.k. oyster shell free choice. You don't mention her age, but it's not uncommon for laying hens to have a glitch or even start to have some reproductive problems.
It would be a good idea to rule out internal/external parasites and observe her for any indication of stress - being picked on/bullied or kept away from food. If she has ever had any respiratory illness, this could play a role as well.

The first egg was hard shell, she has been drinking and eating regularly and I do give them oyster shell freely. She is about 8 months old. She doesn't act lethargic or like anything is wrong until she is laying the eggs then she just goes off by herself. As soon as she is done she goes right back with the others. I have had several soft shell eggs from her lately she will drop them on the coop floor or wherever she is standing. I know they are hers because she lays bigger eggs than any of the other girls.

What type of food are you feeding her?
Has she ever been sick with a runny nose or sneezing?

Soft shell eggs are hard to lay.
If the softies continue, I would give her 1/2 tablet of Caltrate for 4-5 days and see if that makes a difference.
Look her over for any lice/mites and consider getting a fecal float to check for worms.

Make sure she is getting plenty of oyster shell. When mine do that I give them Tums for a couple days.

I feed her Nutrena Naturewise food. She doesn't have has a funny nose or sneezing. I have looked her over and she looks good. They do have free access to oyster shell but I am not sure she is eating it. How do you give them the Tums?

Some people will treat with antibiotics, such as Baytril, after hens have an egg break inside with a reproductive disorder. Baytril (enrofloxacin) is banned for chickens in the US, but it will treat many of the bacteria that can enter the reproductive tract and set up infection. Things like salpingitis and egg yolk peritonitis can be a result of infection in the oviduct. Other people are very reluctant to treat their chickens with antibiotics. Hopefully your hen will stop laying the shell-less eggs. Here are a couple of threads about another hen who has laid shell-less eggs and has been activing very sick:

Mine won’t eat the oyster shell either unless I throw it on the ground, so every evening I throw a handful on the ground. I do leave a bowl in the run, but it never looks touched. They never eat it out of the bowl for some reason. I give them Tums by breaking it up into about six or seven pieces then I open their beak and give it piece by piece. I also save the egg shells, wash, dry them, smash them up and give them back to them.
