Chicken laying on floor of coop

i have a pullet who just started laying a few days ago. She will get in the nest box and lay down like she is getting ready to lay then jumps down right before and lays on the floor! I have ceramic eggs in several neat boxes and a couple empty. Why is she doing this and what else can I do to correct this?

Hello! I would say it's just because she's a new layer....The sensation of laying an egg feels strange to her, but I believe she will get the hang of it in time...
