Chicken lays at neighbors house

Yep. sounds complicated, hard to end a relationship like that.
Have you tried to talk to him about it?
I’ve told him I didn’t want any more chicks so the last time my hen disappeared for a few weeks I’m assuming she went broody but he didn’t come over with baby chicks luckily. But all the sudden a young cockerel was coming over and fighting my rooster. I caught him and planning to re home. My husband walked over there yesterday and he claims it’s not his. But it has blue Americauna legs haha. Either way my rooster doesn’t get on that hen so maybe this is the end! Thx for the advice and listening.

We put up a tall fence for the "free range area" for our chickens. We had problems with coyotes and foxes coming through the "forest" side, running in, grabbing a chicken and running out. This happened in broad daylight! The fence has stopped all that. Most of the fence is only 4 feet tall, (except we added 3 feet next to the garden area) and they do not fly or jump over it. They seem to be content with the space and stay in it's confines. You may try this. It's costs a bit, but we wanted to keep the chickens! I hope you can work things out! :fl
