When I first saw this:

I Thought I was going to get a 3 yolk egg.

When I opened it up I got this:

I thought I was going to crack this egg open and have a big fat omelette, not a buffalo wing. Has anyone come across this? Does anyone have an explanation? I mean I've had meat spots and blood spots, but this is just weird.

Piece of oviduct? That'd put you off your breakfast for sure!

Ouch - I bet that hurt for her to push through. Was it hard like bone? Did you cut it open to see what's inside it? I'd have to cut it up to see if it's hard - maybe it was another partially formed egg inside the bigger egg? Whatever it is - ewwhh! That's exactly why you want to break the shells into a smaller dish BEFORE using them in the recipe.

It must have hurt, it was definitely a big egg. I didn't cut it open, didn't think to (which disappoints me now), but it was hard like a bone. The outside felt like flesh, maybe skin? I don't know for sure. Besides this "thing" the egg had a yolk and a white too.
