Please help. My Chicken age is 1 or 2 years.(Not sure). Her leg is suddenly swelled. I have read the article about bumblefoot. Then I do surgery on one leg.But her leg is swelled more. I feel scared. I don't want to lose my chickens life for my fault. Please help me. what to do.I love my chicken so much. She is my pet chicken. She lives in our house and there is no garden that she can do dust bath. But the whole day she jumps from on my table and others thing. I do surgery on her one leg but it's too scary to do it again. When I do surgery I do not give her any Epsom salt because this is not available in near and don't give her any medicine. But I give turmeric on her leg.The yellow thing is turmeric as seeing in the picture on her leg. The yellow one is her surgery leg.

I would trim her claws just because they need it. (careful not to cut the Quick ) and soak that foot in Epsom salt. Have you considered ordering the salts online?

It worked for me. I had four hens with bumblefoot. I didn't do any surgery. I just removed the scab. Then soak for half an hour for three days. All mine are back to normal now.

I search it in online and also in many shops but didn't find it. Can you tell me anything else that I can give her
