chicken lice ? no elector avalible uk?

You could have someone ship you a small amount of Elector from the US. There are several purveyors available. We use a guy in state that send out the small bottles (enough concentrate to make several sprayers full) for $25. And they're only an inch tall so I doubt the shipping would be much. Maybe first you could ask in your local poultry groups if anyone with a big bottle might offer small amounts for sale.

Yeah does that work good ? I got chicks and hatching too

It typically works good enough. Many people here use it with success, it's just a bit more laborious than Elector PSP (which is supposed to be a "one and done" treatment). With permetherin it is recommended to treat birds and housing every 5-7 days for several weeks (until you don't find mites anymore).

It may not be necessary to keep treating the housing if the birds have lice and not mites, since lice live on the bird, but I would do a deep clean and treat the coop at least once and then treat the birds once a week for a few weeks. It is my understanding that lice are easier to eradicate than mites!

cant buy any spinosad for the uk? i could last year...
what can i use for chicken lice? that works ?
Diatomaceous earth.
It's a fine powder. Like talc.
Shake it over the birds & rub it into the feathers.
Put tablespoon sized piles on top of the roost boxes & scatter it into the bedding on the floor.
If they have a dirtbath put it in there with the dirt.
Also buy some detergent mite spray (jeys black fluid or similar) to apply to the house being sure to spray it into tight corners.

Repeat all that every 2 weeks for 3 cycles. (5 weeks). Should be gone but keep an eye on them and repeat if necessary.

The Diatomaceous earth is non medicinal as is the detergent spray.
